Lake Alfred is a community school built in 1950’s. It serves local families and many family generations have attended the school year after year. The school is a Title one school with 100% free and reduced lunch. The teaching staff is made of 47 teachers, mostly female with a median age of their teaching experience being approximately 10 years. There are approximately 6 units per grade level. Lake Alfred Elementary is located in a small, rural and quaint town with several locally owned businesses. Community programs and local churches help to serve our families during holidays and additional school supplies that are needed. The community and staff have come together to beautify our campus as well as work together with our parent teacher organization to make LAE a better place.
LAE students can and will learn together to read, to write, and to understand Math and Science. We are winners!
The staff at Lake Alfred Elementary believe that each and every student has the potential to learn and achieve excellence. It is our job to provide a quality education, timely interventions, and a safe environment.
“Learners Achieving Excellence – LAE” Our goal is to ensure all students remain on the path of learning through progress monitoring and meeting state proficiency levels and annual measurement objectives
